 Volunteer OpportunitiesThe Boys & Girls Clubs offers young people what they need and want most: professional adults who respect and listen to them; a safe environment where they can have fun and be themselves; and interesting, constructive activities that channel youthful energy into challenging pursuits. Programs are led by 27 paid professional staff members, supplemented by volunteers. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available to individuals who want to help impact a child in a positive way. All potential volunteers who wish to become active with the Club on an on-going basis must fill out a volunteer application and submit to a background check, reference check and interview. One-time Volunteer Opportunities:Dreams to Goals Volunteers - Dreams to Goals is a program which brings teens and African-American professionals together to share personal stories in an effort to motivate Club members to stay in school and pursue careers. Special Event Volunteers – the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Western Reserve hold special events, including fundraisers, throughout the year where individuals or groups of volunteers could participate by preparing mailings, setting up or tearing down for an event, or helping out at the event.
